Structuralist Rhetoric
From around 1983 Robertshaw's interest began to focus on language in legal contexts, influenced by Bernard Jackson at Liverpool and Ottmar Ballweg and Katarina Sobota at Mainz. This area of his work made developments in the theory of genre and narrative. Here he developed a blend of structuralist analysis with traditional rhetoric.
